Apelul pune la dispoziție fonduri pentru IMM-uri active în energia regenerabilă, mai exact în fotovoltaice, eolianul offshore și rețelele de energie asociate, pentru a dezvolta și scala soluții tehnologice. Banii acoperă activități de la proof of concept până la maturizarea soluțiilor, cu plafoane cumulate de până la 60.000 euro pe IMM și cofinanțare privată minimă între 20% și 40%. Pot aplica IMM-uri din Uniunea Europeană, individual sau în consorțiu, pentru proiecte cu durată de până la șase luni.

The two calls will be structured through two distinct funding strands. It is reminded that the cumulative maximum FSTP support per SME under the whole set of RENEW-BOOSTER calls is EUR 60,000. An SME may submit a maximum of one application per strand, whether applying individually or as part of a consortium. Consequently, an SME may submit one application under Strand A and one application under Strand B, provided that the proposed activities are distinct and no double funding occurs.Strand A (Challenge-driven) follows a two-step process linked to predefined industrial challenges. In Step 1, up to three SMEs per challenge receive €10,000 (with minimum 20% private co-funding) to develop and validate a proof of concept (TRL 6-7). After evaluation and a final pitch, one SME per challenge advances to Step 2 and receives €50,000 (with minimum 40% co-funding) to further develop and scale the solution (TRL 8-9).Strand B (Open Call) follows a single-stage selection process. SMEs apply bottom-up and can request up to €10,000, €30,000, or €60,000 depending on project maturity, with increasing private co-funding requirements.
